Obituary of James (Jimmy Keiths) Darren MacInnis

James Darren MacInnis, 63 Donkin, NS We the family of James “Jimmy Keiths” MacInnis, 63 of Donkin, announce his sudden passing at home on Friday, April 7, 2023. James was the son of the late James and Madeline MacInnis. James was a long-time member of the Hub Athletic Club where he played darts; he was an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed watching softball and in younger years playing softball. He worked various jobs mainly as a carpenter, bartending, as well as working as a labourer in the Oilfields. James was very well liked by all who knew him and was known to many as “Jimmy Keiths.” Survived by a brother Derek Orr MacInnis, and a niece Madeline Rhyan MacInnis. Cremation has taken place under the care of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, 902.849.4199. Interment will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery. Family would like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses at the CBRH, as well as Glace Bay Healthcare, for the care given to James in 2022.
