We, his family regret to announce the unexpected passing of Donald McMullin, 67 of Reserve Mines, on April 10, 2023, at home, due to complications of COPD. Donnie was the son of Josephine (Currie) McMullin and the late Ignatius ‘Butch’ McMullin, Dominion.
Donnie was an avid outdoorsman, feeling most at home in the woods. His passions were hunting and fishing in Framboise, Stirling and Loch Lomand. Donnie was a Devco miner, working at Phalen and Lingan Collieries, retiring in 1998.
Besides his mother, Donnie is survived by his son Donnie (Ellen) Billard; grandchildren, Blake, and Sophie Rae; sisters Linda Rosochalsky and Patricia (Sandy) MacDonald; brother Bill (Sommai), niece Margaret Ann McDonald and nephew Ben MacDonald.
Along with his father, he was predeceased by his brother Robbie in 1997.
The family gives a special hearth felt thank you to Wayne MacNamara of Reserve for being such a good friend to Donnie through the years.
