Obituary of Matthew Tucker

Surrounded by his loving family, we are heart broken to announce the unexpected passing of Matthew Donald Tucker. Matthew passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018, in the QEII Hospital at the age of 24. Matthew is survived by his loving parents Cyril and Donna (Saccary) Tucker, brother Douglas (Brianna) and sister Neleha, grandmother Corinne (Muise) Saccary, grandfather Donnie Saccary (Theresa) and great grandmother Mary Louise (Cormier) Muise, all of Halifax. Matthew was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Doug and Rita (Mitchell) Tucker of Portugal Cove NFLD, maternal great grandfather Michael Muise and uncle Michael Saccary both of Halifax. Matthew enjoyed his career with ISS Security, where he made many life long friends. He always made himself available to everyone. Matt took great pleasure in making people laugh and smile, there was never a shortage of laughter when Matt was around. Special thank you to the staff of the QEII 5.2 ICU, ISS Security staff and the staff at the Westin Nova Scotia. Instead of a traditional funeral, the family has decided to have a gathering for friends and family to pay respect in Matt’s honor. The celebration will take place Thursday March 29, 2018 from 6-10pm at the Spryfield Lions Den, 111 Drysdale Rd.
