Obituary of Marie Theresa Slade

Marie Slade, 77 Reserve Mines, NS It is with deep sorrow, that we the family of Marie Theresa Slade of Reserve Mines, NS, announce her passing on March 31, 2023. Marie was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Minie Slade. Marie is survived by her companion Joseph “Binky” Murphy; sons: Michael, Harold, Jamie (Gail), and Reggie; daughter’s: Stella (Cary), Cherry (Will), Angel (Mike). Along with her parents, Marie was predeceased by a daughter Lisa. Thank you to VON, and Cape Breton County Homemakers, for your support throughout Marie’s illness, to Dr. Moamer for your kindness, care and compassion given to Marie the past number of years. The family would also like to thank the CBRP, Paramedics, and the Reserve Volunteer Fire Dept., we the family do appreciate all that you have done. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Marie will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 12-2 p.m., and a Celebration of Life to follow, with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding, all in T.J.
