Obituary of Carol Ann Siepierski
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Carol (Chickie) Ann Siepierski, 68, of Sydney on Friday, March 31, 2023, at The Cove Guest Home with loving family at her side. Born in Sydney, Carol was the daughter of the late Mona and Chester Siepierski.
Carol took an active role in raising her nephew, Peter Siepierski. She also enjoyed her time knitting, spending time with family and most importantly, helping and giving to everyone around her. She had a way of brightening everyone around her and making their day better in many ways.
Carol is survived by her sisters Janice Edwards, Diane Siepierski, Nancy (Jim) Farrell; nephews Peter (Melissa), Kyle (Katherine), Brandon (Megan); niece Robyn (Sean); great-nephews Troy and Luke and great-nieces Shaelynn and Anna to whom Carol filled in for her parents as a grandmother; and lifelong friend, Madonna Clarke. Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brothers John David Siepierski and Michael Siepierski and grandparents.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, 902-539-7175. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 6, from 10-11am followed directly by a memorial service in the Chapel. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit.
A special thank you to the Renal Dialysis Unit, The Cove Guest Home and her earth-angels from Orchard Court, friends and family who made Carol’s home away from home at The Cove the best experience she could possibly have.
