Obituary of Trevor Fox

Please share a memory of Trevor to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Bradley Trevor Darrin Fox, age 54, at his home in Lower Sackville on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from heart issues. Trevor spent the last 30+ years working first at IGA and later Superstore, working in produce and more recently as the store’s shipper/receiver. Trevor loved his job but more importantly he truly enjoyed being around and with the people he worked with and the customers he served. As a youth Trevor was highly involved in scouting at 2nd Fairview as a Beaver, Cub, Scout and Venturer. As an adult Trevor was a Venturer advisor at 6th Sackville and he also helped coach little league baseball in Fairview. Trevor loved the simple things in life. He always had at least one book on the go, loved sports, especially his Bruins, he could easily have been a champion of “Name that Tune”, the daily sudoku, and he absolutely loved relaxing with his favorite beverage on the deck of the cottage in Brule Point. Trevor was an easy going, gentle soul, always ready with a joke, ready to listen when needed or just give one of his famous hugs. Trevor is survived by his mother, Sandra (Mont) Fox, brother, Scott Fox both of Halifax; his nieces, Victoria and Olivia Fox of Dartmouth; his nephews, Mark, Jack and Isaac Harrison of Beaverbank; his brothers from other mothers, Scott Smith of Ottawa, James D’eon of Middle Sackville; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Trevor is predeceased by the love of his life his wife, Julie (Wellman) of McCallum, NL; his father, Robert “Bob” Fox of Halifax; and the best dog ever, Lexi. Cremation has taken place under the care of T.J. Tracey Cremation & Burial Specialists. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Trevor’s name to your local chapter of the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
