Obituary of Janet Bujold

Janet Bujold, 61 Sydney River We are saddened to announce the passing of Janet Bujold, 61, on March 23, 2023 at her home in Sydney River. Born in New Glasgow, Janet was the daughter of the late Neil and Mary MacNeil. She will be remembered as a kind, humble, loving mother, grandmother and friend. Janet enjoyed knitting, needlepoint and crocheting creating beautiful projects over the years. She was most proud of being a grandmother and loved every minute spent with her grandchildren. Nana will be missed. Mom will be missed. We will all miss the big blue poncho and big smile coming from afar. Janet is survived by her special friend, Norman Budge; son Eric Bujold (Trish), Sydney River; daughter Krysta Bujold, Ontario and grandchildren Brody Bujold and Isabelle Kallan. Special thank you to the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital ICU for the care over the past few months and the EHS staff. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, N.S., 902-539-7175. There will be no visitation, a private family gathering will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
