Sheila “Sally” Lambert

It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the peaceful passing of our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Sheila ‘Sally’ Lambert on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney with her family by her side.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mae (Murrant) Turner.

Sally enjoyed her tomato juice and macaroni; watching her Hallmark Christmas Movies all year round, and a variety of other shows. Mom also loved to spend time with her animals, and hot summer days by the pool surrounded by family.

Survived by her husband Bernie Lambert of 48 years; three sons: Jimmy (Kim), Matthew (Raylene), and Michael; daughter: Megan (Lambert) McNeil, (Chris); brother in law; Reggie (Joanne) Lambert; sisters in law: Debbie (Peter) and Joyce Verbeski. Eight grandchildren: Dillan and Emily, Robyn, Gracie Mae, Parker and Mina, Jasmine and Logan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Sally was predeceased by a daughter at birth, Bernice Lambert; in laws, Clara Lambert, Hector McNeil, and Bernard and Margaret Lambert.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 1-2 p.m. and a Celebration of Life to follow, with Alison Etter presiding, all at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. 902.849.4199.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care Unit, Sydney, NS.
