Anne MacKay Dominion It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Anne Wells Mackay of Dominion on February 27, 2023. Anne was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Wells. Anne was employed at the NSLC for 25 years and worked at Walmart many years prior. Anne's beautiful smile and bubbly personality won the hearts of many friends and customers. Anne's passion was spending quality time with her two amazing grandchildren Emma and Jake McIntyre. Making memories walking along Dominion Beach with MaryAnne, Emma and Jake searching for sea glass. Anne was an avid dart player who played in many leagues; most recent being the Dominion Firehall. Anne enjoyed spending family time with her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Reminiscing about days gone by and cherishing every moment. Every phone call would always end with "I love you." Anne had a special way with words. She never missed an occasion to send best wishes, encouragement and love to all - which gave her the nickname Anne of Hallmark. Anne leaves to mourn her loving daughter MaryAnne (Stephen) McIntyre and loving son Matthew MacKay. Her precious grandchildren Emma and Jake McIntyre whom she dearly loved and spoke of often. Also left to mourn are her siblings: Marie (John) Wolodka, Veronica (Guy) St.Jean, Margaret (Frank) St.Onge, Mary (Frank) Phillipo, Phyllis Johnston, Frank (Martha) Wells, Daniel (Laura) Wells, Edie (James) Jamieson, Rachael (Carolyn) Wells, nieces and nephews. " Our mom was our best friend. We loved her more than words can say, and she knew that because we told her everyday. Our hearts are broken, and we miss you so much. We miss your smile, your laugh, hugs, and time spent together. You left us with so many memories and will never be forgotten. You made us a strong, loving, caring family that will always be there for one another to follow in your footsteps.” We love you mom, xoxo❤
