Our deepest sympathies to Paulina, Zach and Family.
His family has lost their hero. I have lost a best friend and business partner. I will deeply miss all those energizing conversations on how we were chasing our dreams and what we had accomplished together.
Robert was intelligent, extremely hard working, charismatic, generous, funny as hell but most of all loyal. He was loyal beyond anything. Loyal to his family, friends and colleagues. This was one of his greatest strengths.
He was extremely proud of his colleagues and always praised their work ethics. This praise came from his soul which was huge.
Rob had enormous passion in everything he did and it was contagious! We connected because we saw each other in ourselves. Now that he is gone part of me went with him. We often spoke about death. We joked on how we would escape it knowing fully we were planning for one of us not to be here to push our dreams forward. We promise to honor Rob’s life and carry it with us always.
Until we meet again my friend.

To Roberts wonderful family, we want to send to you our condolences from us all here at Mari-Tech.
We all knew Robert with his many visits to our office and many sit down chats that were of a serious nature when it came to business but also with lots of laughs and stories of days gone by and the pleasures that the seafood business brought him. We always spoke about the many people that he befriended during his time working and socializing with those in the industry. He loved what he did and took it seriously. We never met you but we hear a lot about you both. Robert is already sadly missed by so many as we have talked with many who had met him and since the sad new arrived, everyone that we spoke with were surprised of this news how devastated they were.
Robert will be sadly missed for a long long time and we will all certainly miss him for his smile, his sense of humour and his simple hellos when in his company. I am sure that you will find so many great memories to hold on to and celebrate. He will always be with us and again our condolences and thought are with you and all of your both families now and forever. Mari Tech Scales and Food Equipment Staff.

Pauline and Zach, so sorry for your loss.
I knew Robert as a co-worker and later as an account manager. What I remember most is all the laughs out on the road – usually in a snowstorm heading somewhere remote in Newfoundland.. In the harassment department, Robert was one of the rare ones who could catch as well as he could pitch.
Good hunting, BudZ.

Pauline, Zach and family, my deepest condolences to you. I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Robbie’s sudden passing.
I grew up with Robbie and graduated from SPDH with him (we even shared the same birthday). He was a great friend, we had many laughs and good times in our younger days. I regret that we lost touch over the years, but always considered him a good friend. His large personality and sense of humour were well liked by all who were lucky enough to know him. He was one of a kind! I’ll never forget him.
Thinking of you during this difficult time.
Rest easy Rob

Pauline, Zach and Emily,
My deepest sympathies and love.
First a friend. Then a great boss. Robert was my go-to guy when I wanted to bounce ideas, have questions answered, sit down and strategize or simply to shoot-the-breeze and have some good laughs. And did we ever laugh some days! I’ll miss his daily stops in my office for a general chit-chat. It was always a great way to start the morning. I’ll miss his wide-ranging knowledge of our business and the crazy lobster industry.
Robert grew our business from a small crate dealer into the international seafood company we are today. It’s on his shoulders that we stood on this journey, and it’s a very good thing that his shoulders were broad enough to carry us along with him.
His legacy reached far beyond building a successful business. He touched, influenced, mentored and was a friend to so many in his personal life. His net was cast further than most.
Above all, Robert was most proud of his family. His devotion and love knew no limits and we spent many hours sharing stories of our children’s accomplishments and our family life. His love for Pauline and Zach was always on his sleeve.
Robert and Pauline were there when I needed them most. No questions asked. Simply love and support. What better friends could one ask for?
May your hunting grounds be filled with 12 point bucks my friend.

I “dated” Robbie way back in the day and he was always a barrel of fun. I saw him a few years ago when I worked at Lobster’s R Us and we were storing some of him lobster.
