THEORET, Earl Joseph, 65, of Bedford passed away on February 23, 2023 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Windsor, Ontario he was the son of the late Gordon Stevens and Jean Theoret. Earl served in the Royal Canadian Navy on board the HMCS Athabaskan and HMCS Protector for 27 years. After retirement from the Navy dad continued in a career of flooring installation until his time of death. Dad was an avid bowler and looked forward to his weekly leagues and tournaments. He is survived by his son, Kory Joseph Earl Theoret (Joanne); daughters, Joni Lynn McInnis (Cary), Kyla Michelle Theoret (Allan); grandchildren, Taylor McInnis, Huntyr Theoret, Dakotta Theoret, Cierra Theoret, Dayton Theoret, Caiden Sutherland, and Christian Sutherland; great-grandchildren, Aidan Walker, and Armani Marsh. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (McInnis); father-in-law, Douglas McInnis; mother-in-law, Doris (Jollimore) McInnis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements (joni.mcinnis@outlook.com ) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thank you to the Dr.’s and nurses at the Halifax Infirmary QEII 6.1 for the care given to our dad during his brief stay. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax (902)835-4212. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 PM in T.J Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists with Pastor Josh Crawford officiating.
