Obituary of Marion Adeline Wilson

Marion Adeline Wilson, Age 67, of Halifax, NS, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at the QEII Hospital. Born in Halifax to the late Mary (Fitzgerald) Grandy and the late Walthen Cashin. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Gina (George); and the love of her life, her grandson, Jase; brothers, Paul and Joey; sisters, Susan, Georgina, Marie, Barbaranne, Sylvia, Donna Lee and Mary. As well as many extended family, friends, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack, William, Thomas, Eugene, James and Lloyd; sisters, Cecilia and Denise; and nephew, Joseph. Marion was a retired meat cutter, employed with Sobeys Inc for over twenty years. She was kind, loving, enjoyed laughing, spending time with friends and family and a huge animal lover. In her most recent years her focus was spending time with her cat Sylvester and her grandson at the Dingle. Although we are deeply saddened of our loss, we have peace knowing there is no more pain and suffering. A church service will be held on February 24th at 1:00pm, at Saint Patricks Church, 2263 Brunswick St. Reception to follow from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Fairview Legion, 50 Hillcrest St. Committal to follow in the early spring.
