Margaret 'Peggy" MacLeod Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret ‘Peggy’ MacLeod, 76, of Sydney in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Feb. 10, 2023.
Born in Sydney, Peggy was the daughter of the late Sadie (MacLellan) and Alec MacKinnon. She loved to walk and go to Bingo. Her greatest achievement was her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Heidi MacLeod, her son Chad (Susan) MacLeod, grandchildren Rose and Mary-Beth; brothers Gerard (Barb), Alexander (Joanne); sister Ann; sister-in-law Lorraine and brother-in-law Vince. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Sally and brothers Joe and Francis (Debbie).
