Obituary of Leonard Adrian McInnis

Leonard (Squiggy)Adrian McInnis, 56 Reserve Mines, NS We regret to announce the passing of Leonard on January 31, 2023. Born in Reserve Mines on October 25, 1966, to the late Elmore and Teresa (Teasie) McInnis. Leonard is survived by Stefanie; sons: Sean, and Chris; brothers: Eddy (Tina), and Kevin; sisters: Willena (Leonard) Arsenault, Jean (Maurice) Labranche, and Catherine (Jerry) Cheilotis; as well as in-laws Dawn and Peter Huczet. Along with his parents, Leonard was predeceased by a brother Mike. Leonard was employed as a carpenter, and ceramic tile installer. He loved fixing cars and would lend a helping hand whenever anyone would ask him to. His favorite job was setting up sound systems for local bands and events with his best friend Bernie. He loved all sports, particularly playing snooker and nine ball in local leagues with friends, watching NASCAR, and his favorite hockey team, The Montreal Canadians. Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, NS. 902.835.4212. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, February 12, from 2 to 5 p.m., in Dave Doolittle Tap and Grill, 90 Tacoma Drive, Dartmouth, NS. Interment will take place at a later date.
