My deepest condolences I will always remember when he and I were up in his grandmother yard on tenth st and I think his dad had a white camero shag roof wt orange strips white leather seats we thought we were the Maude squad but he would never leave behind the wheel to funny I hope he s driving that camero now. I had heard a lot about Kenny from Shawn since we met. Being a prankster(in past, ahem) I was eager to meet Kenny someday. In October 2022, I got to meet Kenny when Shawn and I visited the family. As a present I bought a book for Kenny- "The Official Dictionary of Sarcasm: A Lexicon for Those of Us Who Are Better and Smarter Than the Rest of You". I still remember how Kenny laughed when he read the title of the book. As I got to spend two short days with the family and Kenny I got to hear many stories as the two brother laughed while reminiscing their childhood days. Kenny was gentle and kind- so kind that he let someone (ahem, ahem) he just met leave behind something someone had stolen and could not take back home(yikes). The last day before leaving, we drove to Kenny's work to say a bye before we headed back home. Less did I know that would be the last hug and the last time I would be seeing Kenny. As Arlene said in her Facebook post- "don't wait to do the things you want. Tomorrow is not promised", I wish we did not rush back believing we will see Kenny again in July 2023. I will miss getting to know Kenny in person but I am sure I will get to know Kenny more each day through the stories and memories Shawn and the family will continue to share with me. My heart goes out to Mom, Arlene, Shawn and the extended family. Kenny, you will live in our hearts forever and ever and till we meet again- plan and execute every possible prank in your new place!
