Paris Morgan Reid Obituary

Paris Morgan Reid, Age 80, Lower Sackville, passed away on January 16, 2023 in the QEII Victoria General Hospital.


Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late, William Jack Reid and Mary Louise Leighton (Piercey).


Paris was a sports enthusiast and was a diehard Bluejays fan and played baseball throughout his younger years. You could always find him in his workshop doing what he loved, working on projects for his family home that he built himself 50 years ago. You could always count on him to be the life of the party.


Survived by his wife, Anna Ruth Reid; son. Mark Reid, Halifax; daughter, Nancy Vidito (Jonathan), Middle Sackville; sisters, Kathleen, Fay; 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Hannah, Brady, Elle; and many nephews and nieces.


He was predeceased by sisters, Effie, Ruth, Patricia; brothers, Robert, Bill, and Neil.


A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at 2pm in the Sack-a-wa Canoe Club, 159 First Lake Drive, Lower Sackville.


Interment to take place at a later date.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of NS.
