Bunny! Sorry to hear about your loss. You and 9A have become part of my unforgettable moments in my life. I was a newcomer to this country when I was assigned on 9A. If you recall, my wife and I were Blessed with a Baby Girl who is now 52. I will never forget the days you used to call me "PAPA". Those were one of my most memorable moments in my career. Remember, I was just an interne then? Just to let you know that Dr. Taylar has been one of the great influence in my career. Miss those days. I hope we can meet again after all those years. Take care and stay safe!

Bunny: We were very saddened to learn of Charles’ passing. We knew him as a neighbours Brother in Law, but having spent several dinners and visits to their home, can attest to his finely honed sense of humour and timing. The sort of a man you wished you had known for longer, which speaks volumes to how jovial and welcoming he was. He will be missed, but we are happy he was at peace with the world and happy in his adopted home of Halifax. Fondly remembered. Jackie and John

I first met Charles in 2003 and it revolved around Bridge and New Year's Eve parties and dinners. The Bridge was fun and the feasts were fantastic. My memories of Charles will always include that infectious smile that seemed ever present. Rose and I extend our condolences to Bunny and the entire Taylar family. Somewhere in Heaven tonight there is a Bridge game going on with Charles, our dear friend Peter and others. I can picture it now with Charles asking to "review the bidding". He was a great guy and he will be dearly missed.

Joe and I wish to express our condolences to Bunny and all her family and Charles family in the loss of a wonderful friend. We have enjoyed a friendship that goes back over 40 plus years.
Charles was a kind and empathic Psychiatrist which I witnessed when working on 9A at the V.G. and at the Abbey Lane Hospitals. We had a friendship with Charles and his wife Bunny which spanned over 40 years and we travelled together, attended their wonderful garden parties in summer and their marvellous New Year's Eve parties over the years. He was lots of fun , a great gardener and a fabulous bridge player. He will be missed by many. R.I.P.

Bob and I have known Bunny and Charles for many years. Charles was most hospitable ( thanks to his British upbringing?) and was warm and thoughtful to visitors. He was happy to share cuttings of his plants at Quinpool Rd, to this day we still have some of them thriving in our yard. Goodness we enjoyed themed parties at the Taylar home. It seems like yesterday that we witnessed their wedding; a joyful celebration. Charles will be missed by many people for sure. His time had come. May your memories help you to find peace.
