Obituary of Bernard Lawrence Saulnier

SAULNIER, Bernard “Bernie” Lawrence, 71 of Halifax, NS. it is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard “Bernie” Lawrence Saulnier at home on January 6th, 2023. Bernie is survived by his partner of 18 years, Teresa Cardinal (Murphy); daughter, Amelia of Dartmouth, NS.; son, Jon of Toronto, ON.; sister, Shirley (John Chesal) of Cape Breton; niece, Sarah Hill; and nephew John Chesal; great nephews, Brody Chesal, and Gunner Hill. He was predeceased by his parents, Emedee and Josephine (Doucette); and stepson, Corey Murphy. Bernie was a former employee of MicMac Fire & Safety and retired from Canada Post in 2014. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held January 11th, 2023, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax. Funeral Mass will be held January 12, 2023, at 12:15pm in St. Benedict’s Church, 45 Radcliffe Drive, Halifax, NS
