Obituary of Anthony John William Croft

CROFT, Anthony John William “Jackie”, 80 of Halifax, NS., passed away December 21, 2022, at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he was the son of William and Mary Croft. Jackie worked at Mike’s Tackle Shop before he retired. He enjoyed participating in the activities at Northwood Manor and was well liked by the staff and residents there. Jackie is survived by his 2 sisters, Margaret Dunphy, and Marie Asprey both of Halifax, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, mother, and brother Gerald Croft. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax. Visitation will be held January 9th, 2023, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax. Funeral will be held January 10th, 2023, at 11:00am in St. Patrick’s Church, 2263 Brunswick Street, Halifax. Interment on January 10th, 2023 in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family flowers only. The Family would like to thank the 7th floor staff of Northwood Manor and the doctors and nurses that helped Jackie in his final days.
