Reserve Mines, NS
Fabian Thomas MacLeod, 63 of Reserve Mines passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2022, at home. Born of Glacé Bay he was the son of Joseph and Idella (Cooke) MacLeod.
He is survived by his mother Idella; girlfriend Jean Campbell; two daughters Angela (Keegan) and Renee (Kirk) and grandchildren Lucas and Sophia. Fabian is also survived by his brother and best friend John “Jin Joe” MacLeod; sisters Mary (Ken) Kinzie, Joanne (Joe) MacLeod and Andrea (Colin) MacLeod, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Fabian was predeceased by his father Joseph MacLeod.
Fabian worked as a mechanic in his younger years and still loved to give directions to others since he was no longer able. He was a member of the Hawk's Club, Sergeant's Mess and Ashby Legion. Fabian enjoyed classic cars, a game of darts and a dance. He would often be found on a dance floor anywhere that had music. Most of all Fabian loved his family, specifically his grandchildren to which he loved more than life itself.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. 902-849-4199. A Celebration of Life will be held January 8, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. at the Hawk's Club, 28 Lower Mitchell Ave, Dominion NS.
