Obituary of Annie MacDonald

Annie MacDonald, 93 Dominion, NS It is with deep sadness that we the family of Annie MacDonald, 93, Glace Bay, announce her passing on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Victora Haven Nursing Facility. Annie was the daughter of the late Mary and Steve Melnick of Dominion. Annie enjoyed cooking and baking, and she would do this for all her family and friends, whom she loved deeply. Annie is survived by a daughter Brenda (Francis) Tomiczek, Oshawa, ON; brother William Melnick, Oshawa, ON; sister Julia (Benny) Gaetan, New Waterford, NS; four grandchildren: Adam, Daniel, Shawn, and Tracey; as well as eight great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Annie was predeceased by her husband Shunna MacDonald, and a son Steve, as well as brother’s Steve, John, and Walter. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. 902-849-4199.
