Obituary of Marilyn Diane Gilmour

Gilmour, Marilyn Diane (Grant) Glace Bay It is with the saddest and deepest regret that the family announce the passing of Marilyn Diane Gilmour on December 15, 2022, at home, with her family by her side. Marilyn was born in Glace Bay. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Grant. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Tanya (Rusty) Royal, Glace Bay, son Gary (Shelene), Dartmouth; stepson Ashley (Maggie) Osborne, Lingan; grandchildren Ben Royal, Dane and Ivey Gilmour, Luke Osborne; sisters Arlene (Larry) Allen, Aylmer, On; Brenda (Lisa) Grant, Glace Bay, and many beloved cousins. Along with her parents Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Joe Osborne, brother Gary and a niece Michelle. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. 902-849-4199. Any donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
