Please share a memory of Suzanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Carol Laframboise, age 55, of Spryfield, NS, passed away December 12th 2022 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of late Robert and Adele Laframboise. Those who knew and loved Sue were always aware of her selfless, caretaker driven personality and heart. From volunteering at her children’s grade schools on the PTA Committee, School Advisory Council, coaching in Spryfield Minor Softball, and spearheading multiple fundraisers for local youth sports teams, her impact and love has reached the entirety of Spryfield and surrounding communities. Sue also acted as a second mother to every single friend her children brought home earning the honorary title of “Momma Sue”. Though she did not have to meet everyone with great compassion she chose to anyway, creating a glowing example of pure empathy for anyone she came into contact with. Sue spent her whole life caring for and loving others, whether it was through her deeply personalized Christmas gifts, seamlessly run Spring Fairs and Bingos at Elizabeth Sutherland Elementary School or showing up to every event or competition her children competed in- no one had a number one fan like Suzanne. Her love of dogs can be traced back to her love of Scooby-Doo, this love kept her heart young. With every smile and laugh she produced, the youthful ambience she created will live on indefinitely wherever there is good music, great drinks and better company. She was survived by her loving husband Mark Conran, Halifax, NS.; children, Taylor Conran of Halifax, and Elihu Conran of Halifax; sisters, Yvonne Gibb (Robert) Ottawa Ont., Lorna Laframboise, Halifax, Denise Height (Willard) Paradise, Michelle Hilchey (Tony), Lower Sackville; brothers, Bobby Laframboise, Calgary, Alta., Andre Laframboise, Fort McMurray, Alta., and Brian (Kathleen) Laframboise, Calgary, Alta.; Sisters-in-law, Michelle (Eric) Conran Guy, Toronto Ont., Donna Conran, Saint John’s NL., and Heather (Jim) Paul, Bay-Roberts NL.; Parents-in-law, who loved her as their own daughter; Michael (Maxine) Conran, Chamberlains NL., and Marjorie Fudge, Saint John’s, NL.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents, Robert and Adele (Ricketts) Laframboise; and sister, Linda (Jim) McGuire. Her celebration of life will take place in early spring, further information regarding that will be posted at a later date. Thank you for the continued love and support being provided to her husband and children, they are extremely grateful. Have a drink, share memories of her, and laugh in her honour. Love and blessings to those whose hearts and lives were impacted by Suzanne.
