Very sorry to hear of Valerie’s passing. We taught together at Malcolm Munroe Junior High School. I remember fondly sharing many stories with Valerie in the staff room. After she retired we would meet on occasion and we would continue to discuss what was happening in our lives. Valerie had a warm personality and we would share a laugh every time we met. She will be missed.

Very sorry to hear of Valerie’ passing. I taught with Valerie at Malcolm Munroe Junior High and she also taught my children when they attended that school. I will always remember sharing a story and a laugh with her in the staff room. She was always a great listener as well as a great story teller. After Valerie retired I would often see her at one of the local stores and we would just continue with stories about what was happening in our lives as if we still saw each other everyday. Valerie will be remembered as a positive person and she will be missed.

Ms. Robinson was my French teacher at Sheriff Junior High so many years ago. She was a great teacher and a very kind person. She always made me feel special and smart and I always felt she cared. I also loved her pencil skirts and ladylike yet snazzy sense of style. I could not wait to grow up and dress just like Ms. Robinson. She was far too young and I’m very sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in knowing she was one of the few teachers I knew that made a difference in my life and I will forever be grateful for everything she taught me. Sincerely, Kimberley Kennedy

To Valerie’s Family: I was saddened to hear first of all that Valerie was in poor health and now to read that she has died, it breaks my heart. I knew Valerie well. We chummed around together for a couple of years. Whenever I would meet her, we would always share a laugh. She had a wonderful laugh and infectious smile. I will miss her. I will treasure the sympathy card she sent recently when my Mom died in February and will treasure my memories of her.. I will pray for Peace on Valerie’s life in eternity.
