Obituary of Regis Elizabeth Snow

SNOW, Regis Elizabeth, of Halifax. It is with sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Regis Elizabeth Snow aged 83 on Dec 3rd, 2022, at Northwood Center. She is predeceased by her parents, Leonard and L. Elizabeth Bowdrige; and her husband of 20 plus years Ron Snow. She is survived by her brothers, David (Vena), Raymond ( Judy), and sister Donna; her daughter, Lynne (Kevin) Yeadon; and son, Steve (Sam) Davis; her granddaughters, Nyssa (Joey) Yeadon Macdonald, Miriya Yeadon, Rhiannon Yeadon, Megan (Mike) Letellier, and Emma (Nick) Dirk; as well as great grandsons Tristan, Levi, Rust and Charlie. Elizabeth enjoyed a 20-year career with Statistics Canada and received the Queen's Golden Jubilee medal for her years of service. In her retirement she and Ron loved to travel and spend time with their Halifax based granddaughters, often combining the two. She was an avid reader, long time Bridge player and ardent Toronto Blue Jay's fan. Throughout her life she was an active volunteer in her community as well as her church. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church during the last few years. She will be missed by many. Special and heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of 5C for their care and support during her time with them. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 321 Main Ave, Halifax on January 11th at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Please take a moment to share your memories of her with us.
