I hope the memories of Uncle Vernon give you some comfort in the difficult days ahead. I cannot think of a memory of him that does not bring a smile to my face. He lived and loved with passion. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a smirk on his lips as if he has something funny that he needed to share. It was wonderful to see you all together. So very sorry to hear of Vernons' passing. I hadn't seen you folks for many years but remember back when you lived on Connolly Road. Vernon was a great guy and know you will miss him so very much but with happy memories of years gone by, hope they will help ease your sorrow at this difficult time. My friendship with Vern progressed beyond our mutual association with the Kinsmen TV Bingo. I absolutely enjoyed and could never forget the time I spent in his and Jane's company. If love and prayers could have saved Vern he would have been with us forever. However, as much as we loved him, God loved him more. My sincere condolences to the family.
