To Joey Forward's family, I want to pass on my condolences for his passing. He and the original Forward family grew up in Caledonia. He and his brother Cackie became my best friends. I missed them dearly when they moved to Donkin. Joey and I reconnected when we played baseball with N0.11 and Donkin in the early 1960s. He was a power pitcher and I was his catcher. Joey could throw a wicked fastball. A great guy who will be missed. (Submitted by friend and teammate Barry Verbeski of Caledonia).
