Obituary of Edward Andrew Jeffrey

(Joseph) Edward Andrew Jeffrey It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Edward Jeffrey (Royal, Fast Eddie) on October 22, 2022. Dad was born to the late Leonard and Mary Jeffrey (Stoj) of Louisdale, Nova Scotia. It is with great joy that we celebrate a life well lived. Dad worked for over 25 years as a sheet metal worker with Steen Construction and then the Department of Defense where he retired in 2000. He was an avid crib player, playing alongside his very best friends Doug Turner and the late Alcid Doucet. Left to mourn are his children, Kim, Khrista, Carmen, Carla; and his only son, Larry; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren who were the light of his life; his ex-wife, Marion Jeffrey with whom he shared a special friendship; brothers, John (Mildred), Francis (Ann), Chester (Darlene); sisters, Stella, and Anna. He was predeceased by his brothers, Leonard and Raymond, sisters, Josephine, Alice, and Dorothy. Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements are under the care of TJ Tracey funeral home. A service and reception will be held on October 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at TJ Tracey Funeral Home, McQuaid Lake Crescent. Donations to the Easter Seals Nova Scotia. No flowers by request. A special thank you to family doctor Harsh Mishra, Dr. Rideout and the staff at 4.1 especially Peter and to the staff and patrons of the Corner Pocket who were exceptionally kind to Dad over the last few months when his health deteriorated.
