This news really saddened my day :( Tracey helped us sell our first home and helped us buy the perfect replacement home as our family grew. I knew exactly what kind of person she was from the short few months we had spent time together. I Googled her name to see what she was up to only to come across this. Devastating. I hope her children will remember the great memories of her and pursue to be the same person as she was. May the all-mighty have mercy on your soul. You will be missed.

So very sorry to hearing of Tracey’s death. I really enjoyed our visits with her as I cut her hair since she moved to Baddeck. She always shared interesting topics of gardening and living simple which she was loving .

Our Hearts go out to Tracey's Family & too our both Nephew's Kyle & Devin. So very sorry of the loss of your Mom words can't explain how sorry we both are. Both of yous were her Life & Joy. I had the pleasure of working with Tracey for a short time at RBC in Baddeck. Tracey had a quick wit and an amazing sense of humor, and truly was living her best life in her little cabin in the woods. We often talked about her different cooking and baking adventures, and our shared love of animals. We both lost a dear pet around the same time and were able to talk about it with each other. She truly loved her boys and talked about them often. I am so sad to hear of Tracey's passing, and all of us at RBC are thinking of Devin, Kyle, Terri and anyone who knew and loved Tracey.

It was heartbreaking to hear of Tracey's passing. My deepest condolences to Tracey's family and friends. Tracey was a friend of my brother Kevin and always spoke kindly of him and she will always be remembered for her kind soul. The song, "I Did it My Way," comes to mind when I think of Tracey's fiery and kind spirit.

I am absolutely crushed to hear this news. Tracey personally rescued my career by hiring me at time nobody else was giving me a chance. And after that, she taught me how to be an actual journalist and not just a glorified stenographer. My condolences go out to the entire family. Thank you for everything you did for me, Tracey. Sending my sincere condolences to Kyle, Devin, Terri and Mr. and Mrs Duguay. I am truly in shock by the loss of Tracey. She was one of my best and oldest friends and I looked forward to travelling to see her next summer. There are too many memories to share but my favorite was visiting her when she lived on Orangeville. We did the tour, caught a great theatre production and ate sushi on her living room floor that evening. We always had the best times and laughed a lot! I will miss her advice and her tales from the cabin. I will miss you my friend xo Love Cheryl

Tracey took us up to what she called “the magical place” last year, during my first visit to the east coast. It was so beautiful. She really had a gift for finding the very best spots. I’m so grateful for the that trip spent at the cabin with her getting to know her better. She will be missed forever. ❤️
