Obituary of Robert "Bob" Johnston

Robert (Bob) Johnston, 69 Glace Bay, NS It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of (Bob) Robert Harold Johnston, 69, on Wednesday the 12th of October 2022 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with his family at his side. Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Carlyle and Edna (Burton) Johnston. Bob worked over 20 years for Devco in the mining industry. In his retirement he loved going Safari Hunting for "Lions", he was also known to have the greenest lawn in Glace Bay. Bob enjoyed giving everyone his weather reports and sports commentary. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards and super tock. Bob is survived by his wife Lynn (Jessome) Johnston and Daughter Tara Jessome (Freddie); grandchildren: Colby, Keegan, and Miley; he is also survived by a sister Mary and a brother Lester. Bob will also be missed by his numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. In keeping with Bob's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
