Obituary of Dianne Louise Maxwell

MAXWELL, Dianne Louise, aged 79, of Mount Uniacke, NS, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30th, 2022, at Melville Lodge Halifax, NS. Born in Sackville, NS. Dianne was the daughter of Robert Ernst and Thelma Doucette. Mom was a dedicated homemaker who raised many cats as well as her children. She will be remembered for her open heart, smile and empathetic ear, aiming always to reassure others. She had a way of making you feel at home, and part of the family. She will be greatly missed, and forever loved. Dianne is survived by her son, Paul Maxwell; and daughter Jo-Ann Whitman; two grandchildren, Nicolas Whitman, and Logan Maxwell. She is predeceased by her husband, George Maxwell Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 29, 2022, from 1pm to 4pm, in Dartmouth at 36 Braeside Court. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Melville Lodge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
