Obituary of Kenneth William Hill

HILL, Kenneth William, Age 85 of Timberlea, passed away September 29, 2022, at Halifax Infirmary. Born in Beechville, NS., he is the son of William and Lola Hill of Beechville, NS. He was a returning soldier with the Royal Canadian Regimen, stationed in Germany. He worked as a porter for C.N. Rail and was a roofer and landscaper. In his later years he sold wood and scrap metal to name a few. He loved fishing, hunting, scratch cards and spending time with family. Telling jokes and making his famous seafood chowder were his forte and he was also known for his unforgettable hard handshake. Kenneth is survived by his wife Anne Hill of 58 years; 3 sons, Mark, Graham(Tammy), and Dean(Brenda) Hill; 2 daughters, Tanya Bundy, Dartmouth NS., and Cindy Hill-Keane, Texas, U.S.A.; brother, Robert(Thelma) Hill, Spryfield; sisters, Faye(Alfred) Williams, Halifax, Noreen McDonald, Barbara Hill, Toronto, Gail(Leon) Downey, North Preston; 11 grandchildren, Angeline, Anthony, Brandon, Taya, Johnaya, Marcus, Ashlee, Caden, Amy, Samantha, and Rebecca; 2 great-grandchildren, Maliek and Maleigha Bundy. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents, William and Lola Hill; his brothers, Cecil Hill, Douglas Hill; and grandson, Tyler James.
