Obituary of Ashley Marie Tracey

Ashley Marie Tracey, 29 Glace Bay, N.S. It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we the family of Ashley Marie Tracey, announce her sudden passing on September 27, 2022, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, NS. Ashley is the daughter of Lisa Gouthro and the late Stanley Tracey of Glace Bay. Ashley was a fun, loving, and vibrant person who would be there to give a helping hand to whomever needed. Ashey’s pride and joy was her son Robert, whom she loved and nurtured with all her strength. Left to mourn this beautiful young lady, is her mom, Lisa Gouthro (Leroy); partner Robert Troke; son Robert Jr., and daughter Kalli; her sister Angela, and special niece Taylor; as well as many aunts, uncles, friends, specifically Shania, and Robin. Along with her dad, Ashley was predeceased by her precious daughter Graci, as well as both maternal and paternal grandparents. Special thank you to the I.C.U. nurses and doctors at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 pm. in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199. Reception to follow at Glace Bay Undercurrent Youth Center. Heaven Needed Our Mom, Sister, Daughter, and Partner So many things of Mom (Ashley) We miss… Her gentle hug and tender kiss. We still can feel her warm embrace. And picture yet her loving face. A mother’s task are never done. And Heaven must have needed one. For angels came and took her hand And led her to God’s promised land. She’s surely kept quite busy there While brushing little angel’s hair. And making sure they’re dressed just right. Not staying out too late at night. Although there’s sadness, this I know.. She’s waiting there, her face aglow I close my eyes and I can see.. Her arms still open Wide for me.
