Obituary of Joe Osborne

Allan Joseph Osborne, 67 Glace Bay, NS It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Allan Joseph Osborne, 67, of Glace Bay. Joe passed away at home on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born in Pembroke, ON, he was the son of the late Aloysius and Catherine (Campbell) Osborne of Dominion. Joe worked for NS Power for 35 yrs., as a Power Engineer. He was also a member of the Dominion Hawks Club. He is survived by his spouse of 30 yrs., Marilyn Gilmour; a son, Ashley (Maggie); stepson, Gary (Shelene)Gilmour, stepdaughter, Tanya (Rusty) Royal; grandson, Luke, and step-grandchildren, Ben, Dane, and Ivy. Joe is also survived by brothers, Roderick, Ottawa, ON, and Robert, Calgary, AB. Along with his parents, Joe was predeceased by a sister, Alana. There will be no visitation, as per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
