Obituary of Patrick "Pat" Joseph Tomiczek

Patrick Joseph Tomiczek August 1935-September 2022 We the family, are sad to announce the passing of our brother, Patrick Joseph Tomiczek. Pat was the son of the late Roderick and Matilda (McIsaac) Tomiczek of Dominion, N.S. He was a retired Warrant Officer in the Canadian Military, having served for over thirty years. Pat was particularly proud of his years spent as a UN Peacekeeper in the Gaza Strip of Cyprus. Pat is survived by his siblings, Queenie (Russell) Gouthro, Dominion; Pauline (Dick) Power, New Waterford; Ellen (Duck) McAuley, Dominion; Shirley (Steve) Brown, Halifax; Greg (Elaine) Tomiczek, Dominion; Victor (Norma) Tomiczek, Dominion; as well as sisters-in-law Marilyn Tomiczek (Murdoch), New Waterford, and Andrea (John Michael), Dominion. Pat also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Alongside our parents, Pat was predeceased by his siblings Bruno (Ethel) Tomiczek, Tillie (Louie) Citrigno, Stanley (Annie) Tomiczek, George Tomiczek, John Michael Tomiczek, and infants James, and Walter. Also predeceasing Pat are brothers-in-law, Dick Power, and Russell Gouthro. As per Pat’s request, there will be no visitation, or service.
