Rudy & Rudy Onze mooiste herinneringen aan deze geweldige kerel is om de beide neven samen te zien, of met hem samen te zijn. Een paar opmerkelijke mooie momenten voor ons met hem: • In 1990 on tour in Ottawa, en dan zoon Dana vergeten op te halen. • Scheuren door Parijs met de antieke BMW • Dat hij met ons mee terug reed vanuit Parijs, maar de hele rit telefoneerde met zijn secretaresse. • Steentjes stapelen Peggy’s cove, en dansen als een indiaan. • Samen golfen, en denken dat hij niet ziet dat ik vals speel, maar dan toch op het eind zeggen ik zag het wel hoor. • Broodje lobster eten bij Peggy’s cove • Samen vissen • Lekker BBQ-en De wereld is weer een stukje minder leuk door het verlies van deze bijzondere man. Wij zijn heel blij dat we zomer 2019 nog jullie bezocht hebben en een hele fijne tijd met elkaar hadden. We gaan hem zo ontzettend missen, het is voor ons ook niet te bevatten hoe Petra en de kinderen kleinkinderen hem zullen missen. Wij wensen jullie alle kracht en sterkte. Liefs Rudy En Jolanda

I am honored to have known Rudy. He was a special guy with a great love of life. He lit up the room with his special smile and chuckle. I had the pleasure of working with him and looked forward to seeing Rudy and Petra in Orlando at WATS. He left an impact on those who knew him. RIP Rudy and I’m so sorry for your loss, Petra. I smile just thinking about him.

For me...Uncle Rudy was this special souk who would light up the room with the twinkle in his eyes. He would place his full attention and you hoped that you were not missing the joke...because it seemed to be pretty funny in his head! Uncle Rudy was funny yet...so serious. I can't really describe it...but he was always up to something...it 'seemed' ...'senseless' but it wasn't. I LOVE how he loved. Uncle Rudy...you left too soon. You will be missed... Wishing the family space to grieve and process this sudden loss ...

August 25 we had the pleasure of having Rudy & Petra for lunch in our home. 10 days later Rudy has left forever and we are trying to cope with the grief of losing a dear friend. We treasure the memory of being friends in our later years in Hawkesbury and Rudy will be in our hearts forever. Good by and rest in peace... I remember Rudy always telling me to turn off the airconditioning in the car in the Dominican Republic. I should just open a window instead he always said. I also remember just loving the way he could really enjoy the little things in life.

My earliest memory of Rudy was at oma's; he was there for a short time only and won my young heart with his positive 'let's make some fun' energy. Aside from the jokes, he set a pace and set us free. Then, when everybody moved, he would silently withdraw, just to keep radiating happy comfort while reading or ahhhmmm... sleeping a bit in the chair; what we call 'knikkebollen'. His presence was comforting and joyous. Always. I loved him dearly. He will be missed.
