Obituary of Paul Gordon Duncan

Age 79, of Halifax, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary site. Born in Halifax (North End) he was the son of the late, Martina (Gallant) and Gordon Duncan. From 1961-1968, Paul was Safety Systems in the R.C.A.F. and after leaving he upgraded his education at Law and Business Administration U.N.B. Saint John, N.B. He became a real estate broker and property leasing manager for several properties across Canada. He was also a professional photographer like his grandfather, which he loved. He was President and Chairman of several charitable organizations. He also enjoyed road trips with his Wife, having driven across Canada after their retirement. Always one to keep busy, he joined the Commissionaires, working at Dalhousie University. Paul was a wonderful and loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He is survived by his loving wife, Judith (Allen) Duncan of 58 years, son, Andrew Paul (Tammy), Okotoks, Alberta; daughter, Karen Anne (Barry), Greenwood, NS; sister, Jean Marie Sherren; granddaughters, Laura, and Sarah; several nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association, 137 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax, NS. Special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at the QEII Cardiac 6.1 Unit. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Sunday September 11, 2022 from 2pm-4pm, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax.
