Obituary of James McDonald

James W. McDonald “Jimmy Bully” It is with deepest sadness that the family of James W. McDonald of Glace Bay announce his passing on May 1st 2018 age 78, at home with family. Born in New Victoria, he was the son of the late Ronald and Loretta (Baldwin) McDonald. Jimmy was a coal miner, dog catcher, and auto enthusiast. He is survived by his loving wife Louise (Allison) of 58 years; son, Raymond (Mary) MacDonald, daughters Jeannie McDonald (Terry Toomey), Allison (Bernie) Lee; as well as his pride and joy, grand daughters, Stacey and Amanda Lee, all of Glace Bay. He is survived by brothers Danny (Noreen) McDonald; Francis (Cathy) McDonald; sisters Carrie (Duncan) McKinnon, Tina Gauthier; and many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was predeceased by his brothers Ronald, Alfred, John and Raymond. Family flowers only/in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to Dr Ien Oei and the First Responders. No visitation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS 902-849-4199. A memorial service will be held at T.J. Tracey Funeral Home on Thursday May 10, 2018 at 3 PM.
