Obituary of Corinne Anne Saccary

SACCARY, Corinne Anne (Muise), Age 75, It is with heavy hearts the family of Corinne sadly announce her passing on August 23, 2022. Corinne passed surrounded by loved ones and under the amazing care of the Halifax Hospice. Corinne was an honest and dedicated woman who raised her family in Klein Heights where she worked as a day-care teacher and spent all of her years with an open-door policy for any and all of the neighbourhood kids. She worked from a very young age and was always a hard worker. Corinne settled her career and dedicated 30 plus years of her life with her second family and second home, The Fairview Villa / Maplestone. Corinne was an extraordinary lady who would give to all without hesitation, in spite of any struggles or hardships she may have been experiencing. Corinne sadly leaves behind her one and only daughter, Donna Tucker and son in law, Cyril Tucker, who went above and beyond for his mother-in-law in her final years. Corinne is also survived by her sister, Marlene Roach (Danny); and her two brothers, Robert Muise (Debbie), and Ricky Muise (Kathy); grandchildren, David (Alicia), Douglas (Brianna), Dylan (Vinh), Patrick (Caleigh), and Neleha; as well as great granddaughter, Faith. Corinne is predeceased by her parents, Mike and Mary Louise Muise (Cormier); her beloved son, Michael Saccary; and the apple of her eye grandson, Matthew Tucker; and daughter in law, Amy Johnston. Others that Corinne cherished in her life that can’t go without mention, Tanya Farcey to whom Corinne was like a second mother and her daughters Candice and Emilee. Special daughter in law Shannon Johnson. Corinne’s best friends Betty and Gilbert Godin and her angel sent straight from heaven, Barry Dodge. Special thanks to nurse practitioner Sarah Bussey who is thanked for always treating Corinne as so much more than a patient. A celebration of life service will be held as per her wishes and all is welcome to attend on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 7:00pm - 12:00am at the Shriners Temple, 3530 Connolly Street, Halifax. There will be a small tribute for Corinne from 7:00pm – 8:30pm, with a celebration of life to follow.
