Obituary of Donna McMullen Rigby

Donna McMullen Rigby Reserve Mines It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Donna McMullen Rigby, age 62, on August 13, 2022 at the Hospice Cape Breton, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late George and Cecilia (O’Regan) McMullen. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister. Donna enjoyed cooking and baking - she was fabulous at it; she loved music and had a deep knowledge of it; she lived a very quiet life but listened to her music loud. Her pride and joy were her three grandchildren and her daughter. Her family were her life and until the end, she gave the best hugs. Donna will be missed by all who knew her. Donna is survived by her loving daughter, Noelle; her cherished grandchildren, Noah, Layne and Paisley; sister, Mary McMullen-Randazzo (Frank); her former husband, Tom Rigby; as well as many aunts and uncles. Besides her parents, Cecilia (1997), George (1999) she was predeceased by her aunt Betty McMullen (1999). Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at a later date. Thank you to the Cape Breton Regional – Palliative Care, Hospice Cape Breton and the Cancer Centre.
