Obituary of Douglas Slaunwhite

Douglas “Ricky” Slaunwhite, age 65, of Terence Bay passed away July 29th, 2022 at home. Born in Halifax, NS he was the son of Lillian Irene Slaunwhite and Henry Auldon Slaunwhite. His younger years were spent playing bass guitar in the band Nashville Sound. Ricky enjoyed music and was often called upon to provide the entertainment at many family celebrations. He is survived by his 2 sons, Phillip (ShaunaLee), Hilden, and Matthew (Tessa) Oshawa, Ontario; and his 3 grandchildren, Skyler, Nate & Emma. Ricky will be missed but not forgotten. His love for music will continue to live in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA.
