Obituary of Claude Kelly

Age 69, passed away peacefully at home with his partner of 20 years by his side. Formally of Spryfield, he was born on March 26th 1953. He was the son of the Late Claude Kelly Sr. and Leona Kelly (Oakley) Claude worked several years at the Halifax Shipyards and after retirement He took a job at Halpro where he worked for several years before becoming Ill. He is survived by his partner, Diane Jordan of 20 years; children, Claude "Bo" Kelly, Irene Newton; stepchildren, Matthew, Terrilynn, Aretha, and Tamica; siblings, Wayne Oakley (Edna), Carol (Denis) Lanthier, Leona Sullivan-Oakley, Mary (Johnny) Fitzgerald, Marsha (Gerry) Lacroix, Claudia Peterson, George (Beth) Kelly, John (Rosie) Kelly, Cathy Fish, Karen (David) Connors, Edward (Linda) Kelly, Tina Boyd, and Patrick Kelly; grandchildren, Ameila Kelly, Carter Kelly, Jordan Kelly and Samantha Newton; 7 step grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Claude will be happy to see his favorite dog Samson in heaven. Cremation and arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, where a service will take place on Saturday September 10, 2022 at 11am, Pastor Josh Crawford officiating.
