We are so saddened to learn of Baykur’s passing. We have known him since he first opened Nadia’s Taylor Shop in Downsview Mall many years ago. Our family became part of yours as we followed Baykur from location to location in Sackville. He was always so pleasant and funny, not to mention a great tailor! Please accept our deepest condolences on your huge loss of a great husband, father and friend. He will be missed but always our thoughts. I can still hear him scolding me for always waiting until the last minute to ask him to fix something I purchased and wanting it for the next day. I joked with him it wouldn’t be any fun if I planned ahead! In true Baykur fashion he always came through and never disappointed. Rest In Peace my FRIEND, our lives are better because you were in it! You will be missed in the community.

My husband, son and I were longtime customers. While we very much appreciated his skilled work, we especially enjoyed our conversations with him. It was a pleasure to have known him. Our sincere sympathies to the Batman family from the Muir family in Bedford.

I am saddened to hear that Bayker Batman of "Nadia's" has passed. I remember how many times I frequented his store over many, many years and he always was kind, friendly and courteous. He was very helpful when I needed something done. There were even times when he would show me how I could fix something myself and gave me the exact thread color I needed to do the job. I always told him how much I appreciated what he did for me, his smile said it all. I'll miss him as he was a special man and a "Staple" in Sackville, may he rest in peace.

I could always count on him if I needed something hemmed quickly! Great customer service. I was sad to see the obituary in the paper today. Sackville lost a great buisnessman.

Maybe the kindest, most gentle person I've ever known. Proud to call him my friend. Baykur had a great sense of humour! Some of the best laughs I've ever had were a result of something he said or did. We had some great road trips over the years buddy. Moncton and PEI will never be the same. So sorry to read of Mr. Batman’s passing. He was a very well known & excellent tailor in Lr Sackville. So pleasant to his customers. I visited his shop many times during my 40+ years of living in Sackville, he was very much missed when his store closed and he retired. RIP and the warmest of condolences to his family.
