Aunt Mary was my godmother, my substitute teacher in grade three and my all around favourite aunt. In her later life, through my good fortune I became a neighbour in the harbour. It was there that we spent many treasured hours together, she became my friend, my travel companion and my confident, along with many others of course. I experienced first hand , as many did before me, her love, her care, her wisdom and her wonderful sense of fun and hospitality. I have never met a better listener. I did benefit greatly from her prayers and the example she gave everyday as a kind, good caring human being and member of the community/ communities to which she belonged.
I can now pray to Aunt Mary. I know she had a vested interest in the lives of everyone she encountered and only wanted the best for everyone she encountered, I know as well she will Rest In Peace.
My deepest condolences to Rhodena and Chrisanna on the death of your beloved mother, she loved you both dearly. I know it’s a huge loss. Love and Blessings to you both .
