Suzanne E. MacDougall
Sydney
With much sorrow our sister, Suzanne MacDougall, age 70 passed away on March 27, 2019 at home.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Marguerite MacDougall.
She was employed with Canada Post inside and out until her retirement. She loved life, in the early years she danced at Rotary shows, Don Gillies taught them how to dance or don’t – Sue did!
Sue is survived by her loving sisters, Marguerite Knisley, Deanna S.C., Lorna (Joyce) and dearest sister and friend, Laraine, as well as her nieces and nephews who loved her. Sue’s “Post Girls” Clara (deceased) Diane, Jean, Helen and many others, they kept her going. Sue always said, “Keep the pony express going girls.”
Sue was predeceased by her soul mate Donald “Doncie” Coffin, sister, Carol (Jack) Belt; brother, Arthur and brother-in-law, Raymond Ward.
Though it is spring, it is also the winter of our discontent. Sue we love you forever, be with your family spirits where you need to be. Peace, until we meet again.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 7p.m. all at T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199). Reception to follow.
