Obituary of Donna Cecilia Stevens

Born April 4th, 1950, in Halifax, Nova Scotia to the late Gerald and Daisy Stevens. Passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones after a lengthy illness. Mom lived her life on her own terms and adored her family and spent her life being of service to others. Mom owned and operated a successful nursing home for over 25 years until she retired due to illness. Mom enjoyed making food for her loved ones and was a fantastic baker. Mom spent many years in Quebec and returned home to Nova Scotia to spend her last days surrounded by family and many loved ones. Donna is survived by children, Shawn (Deborah), Freddie, Zana, Quincey (Patricia), Shyla, Bubby, and Tony; grandchildren, Christopher, Zamika, Hayley, Xavier, Dylan, Aila, Kyra, Melika, Liam; great grandchildren, Zander, and Zephyrus; sister, Lillian; daughter in law Brandy; niece, Tara; nephew, Scott; great nieces, Brooklyn and Elizabeth; special friends, Earlene, Nancy, Ann, and many others. She was predeceased by her husband, William Kingsley; parents; and sister, Linda Stevens. Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 12pm followed by a celebration of life at 2pm.
