Obituary of Michael Jamieson

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael James Jamieson 68, of Windsor Hants County N.S., suddenly passed away on May 11, 2022, of natural causes. A lifelong resident of Windsor N.S., Michael was born in Centreville N.B. on July 1, 1953. He was the son of the late, Robert Earl Jamieson and Edith Harriet (Pannell) Jamieson. Michael is survived by his 2 sons, Joseph & Catherine (Lukeman) of Lower Sackville NS, Lee & Megan (Gass) of Windsor NS.; granddaughter, Nicole of Ontario; 7 brothers, Alan & Sheila of Windsor, NS, Roland & Pam of Victoria BC, Derrick & Lynn of Berwick NS, Roy & Sue of New Glasgow NS, Malcolm of New Westminster, BC, Peter & Roberta of Halifax NS, and Martin & Judy of Dartmouth NS ; 3 sisters, Jacqueline & Richard DeMerchant of Centreville, NB, Roberta of Kingston NS, Tammy Grose, AB. In addition, Michael will be remembered by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by brother, Delbert. Michael dedicated his life to the trucking and logistics industry, and also to the music and sound production Industry, as a sound engineer for over 45 years. Michael was the Technical Director for the Mermaid Theatre in Windsor. Michael was committed to his community through his sound production and spent numerous hours volunteering for events and shows, such as the Hants County Christmas Angles Society, the Windsor United Baptist Church, to name a few. Michaels love for music echoed all throughout the province, he provided equipment, and sound for numerous local bands and charities. Michael was a man of many talents and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Michael was highly committed to his family and friends, and he touched the hearts of many. He will be deeply missed by his family and those who loved him. There will be a visitation held at the Windsor United Baptist Church at 219 Payzant Drive, on Sunday May 29, 2022 between the hours of 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to the Christmas Angles Society; Mermaid Theater, Windsor Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
