It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray ‘Goggie’ McNeil on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Jimmy ‘Goggie’ and Jane (MacKay) McNeil.
Ray is survived by his nephews, Kevin, Robert and Willie, niece Anna and their families.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Robert ‘Big Bob,’ Jim ‘Slinky’ and Charlie Joe, sisters, Mary, and Ann.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Boudreau presiding, at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS. (902-849-4199).
