Obituary of Mary Kathleen Shubley

On May 1st 2022, Mary Kathleen Shubley (Slaunwhite) became our angel at the age of 83. Mary will be dearly missed by her devoted son, Brenton (Paula) Whites Lake; grandson, Kyle (Ashley) Hubley; great grandchildren, Georgia and Max; sisters, Sylvia Murray (Dartmouth), Kelsey Poirier (Cambridge, Ontario); stepsister, Sherry Slaunwhite (Prospect Bay); stepmother Marjorie Brophy (Prospect Bay). Mary was predeceased by her husband, Everett; parents, Alvin and Annie Slaunwhite (Jollimore); brother, Stanley Slaunwhite; sister, Annie George. Prior to Covid Mary enjoyed her weekly visits to Walmart where she would meet up with some of her family members. On Friday nights you could find Mary at the jammers where she loved to sing Along with the music. We would like to extend our appreciation to all staff members of Windsor Hospital for their care and passion to Mary and her family during her time of need. There will be no visitation, a celebration of life will take place at St. Pauls Anglican Church (Terrance Bay) on Thursday May 5th at 11:00 a.m. Rev Jody officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mary may be made to St. Pauls Anglican Church Terrance Bay where she was a parishioner for many years.
