Obituary of Hilda Ann Pearl Butler

74, Boutilier’s Point. The family of Hilda Butler is sad to announce her passing on April 4, 2022. Hilda was 74 and spent most of her life in the Boutilier’s Point area. She was the daughter of George and Edith (Sellon) Butler. Hilda enjoyed needle crafts, wood burning and music. She will be missed by her family and her many friends. Hilda is survived by her son, Scott Phillip Munroe; 6 brothers, Jack (Bonnie)Butler, Edward (Marlyn) Butler, Raymond (Lynn) Butler, Charlie (Charlene) Butler, Robert (Judy) Butler, Ronald Butler; 6 sisters, Joy Greer, Charlotte McInnis, Brenda Tanner, Nancy (Ken) Butler-Garnier, Gloria Toal, Nadine (Derryll) Hammersley; sister-in-law, Karna Butler and many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Mark Wayne Munroe; 3 brothers, Murray, Garnet, Eric; 1 sister, Eleanor; and her parents, George and Edith Butler. Thank you to all the staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. A family committal will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hubbards Area Lions Club.
